The italian city of Parma and its masterpieces is on Second Life, and also an on line exhibit of the XVth century painter Correggio

Second Parma is the city of Parma (see Wikipedia: Parma – Italy) on Second Life.

It resides on the Monslab Island, and it is organized in several places of interest, such as the “Portici del Grano” and the Garden. The Second Parma project is backed by the Common of Parma, aiming to promote Parma in the world and provide people a new place for social interaction.

The first event in Second Parma is an exhibition dedicated to the XVth century painter Correggio, scheduled at the beginning of October: a virtual appendix to the real-life exhibition which will be held at the same time.
