The blog’s history in pictures
I have been online since 1993 and this blog has existed since 2006. Over these years many of the blogs that grew the Italian web have closed, and some of the people who built that web are gone. This blog is still here.
The web forgets easily, and it often forgets the most valuable things. That is why I have gathered here the 1320 images the blog published from 2006 to 2019, year by year, in the format they were born in: not only to remember how we were, but to understand how we are evolving.
If you spot a wrong date or recognise an image, write to me: this archive gets better with the people who lived those years. My professional story is on the About page.
Who owns these images
These images were published in years when the web had a spirit of solidarity, made of many tacit permissions and strong empathy, even though Creative Commons licences already existed. Today those permissions may no longer be taken for granted. So if one of these images is yours, or belongs to someone you represent, let me know: I will credit you as the author or remove it.
