Subject areaRevenue and sales
B2C, short for business to consumer, means selling products or services from a company to private individuals.
Compared with B2B (business to business) it has faster decisions, often made by one person, lower amounts and far larger numbers of customers.
That is why mass channels, direct email marketing, advertising and the conversion rate of physical and online stores weigh more in B2C.
An example
A bank offers the same account to both businesses and households. Households open it in ten minutes in the app, businesses go through a meeting with a relationship manager: two journeys for the same product.
