Competitive strategy

Competitive strategy: Competitive strategies are the strategies that let a company read data and choose in a way that makes it prevail over competitors.

Michael Porter gave the subject its classic form in the book "Competitive Strategy" (1980). The quality of these strategies depends on how managers read data, so cognitive bias is their first risk.

An example

A consumer electronics chain stops chasing the prices of large websites after reading that its customers buy for the in-store assistance.
