Glossary

Synaesthesia

Synaesthesia is the figure of speech that joins words from different senses, as in "warm voice" or "loud colour".

In digital marketing it explains a precise task: reproducing through images, words and sound a sensation that a screen cannot give, such as touch or smell.

An example

The page of a perfume describes a warm note: a sensation of smell told through touch, because a screen has no scent.
